Judi Dench Calls 2019 Movie 'Cats' a Waste of Talent
Legendary actress Judi Dench has opened up about her involvement in the panned 2019 cinematic adaptation of the famous stage production 'Cats'. In her upcoming book, she expresses deep regret over how the project turned out, describing it as a major squandering of composer Andrew Lloyd Webber's creative goodwill and immense potential. Despite noting that she never viewed the final theatrical cut, Dench defended the cast and crew's initial good intentions. She emphasized that creating films is inherently unpredictable and complex, noting that no one ever sets out to produce a failure.
