Frank Mancuso Sr., a legendary Hollywood distribution executive who led both Paramount Pictures and MGM/UA, has passed away at the age of 93. Known in the industry as 'Gentleman Frank,' he died on October 1 at his Los Angeles home from complications of cancer. Mancuso built an extraordinary career by starting at the bottom and working his way up through decades of dedication. He eventually became chairman and CEO of Paramount before taking the helm of MGM/UA, where he successfully engineered its sale in 1996.
