Other Mommy Edges Out Verity at U.K. and Ireland Box Office
Universal's new horror film, 'Other Mommy,' directed by Rob Savage and featuring Jessica Chastain and Jay Duplass, claimed the top spot at the U.K. and Ireland box office. The movie narrowly surpassed the psychological thriller 'Verity' in a highly competitive race, securing its position with a debut of £1.97 million. While 'Other Mommy' took the lead, 'Verity' maintained a strong performance in its second week, trailing by only a small margin. Other notable films in the top rankings included 'Heart of the Beast' and the latest 'Resident Evil' installment, as the market prepares for a wave of new releases.
