Disney+ Appoints Philip Pratt to Lead Originals in DACH Region
Disney+ has recruited Philip Pratt, a veteran executive from Amazon MGM Studios, to spearhead its original content strategy for Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. Pratt, who spent over a decade at Amazon, will transition to the role of Vice President early next year, reporting directly to EMEA content lead Angela Jain. This strategic hire aligns with Disney's broader initiative to expand its international footprint by investing in localized, high-quality storytelling. Pratt is expected to leverage his extensive creative experience to cultivate a robust slate of regional productions that resonate with local audiences while maintaining global appeal.
