Chacarra leads as McIlroy fades before play halted
Eugenio Chacarra has taken command at the DP World India Championship, extending his lead during the third round. The Spanish golfer is currently performing strongly as he aims to climb the Race to Dubai rankings, putting pressure on his competitors at the Delhi Golf Club. Conversely, Rory McIlroy struggled to maintain momentum during his round. Despite a spectacular eagle, the Northern Irish star faced several setbacks, leaving him significantly behind the leaders as darkness forced officials to suspend play for the day.
