England RL Stand Firm: O'Neill Refutes Lack of Prep
England rugby league hooker Brad O'Neill has strongly refuted claims that the national side entered the Rugby League World Cup underprepared following a disappointing 30-12 defeat against Tonga. Head coach Brian McDermott has chosen to name an unchanged 19-man squad for their upcoming must-win clash against France in Perth. Despite logistical hurdles, including a tight turnaround following the Super League Grand Final and no warm-up international fixtures, the team remains confident in their strategy. O'Neill emphasized that refined execution rather than radical tactical overhauls will determine their World Cup survival.
