Death in Paradise Gets First International Adaptation in Croatia

The popular British crime series “Death in Paradise” is expanding internationally for the first time with a new Croatian adaptation titled “Ubojstvo u raju.” Set on the scenic Croatian island of Brač, principal photography for the non-English drama is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2027. Produced by CGM Films for HRT1, the project will be led by producers Bruno Mustić and Ivan Lovreček, with Jelena Gavrilović directing. The adaptation aims to capture the original show's signature mix of murder mysteries, humor, warmth, and stunning locations while deeply rooting the characters in Adriatic island culture.
