World's oldest shipwreck discovered off coast of Turkey

Archaeologists have discovered what they believe to be the world's oldest known shipwreck off the coast of Turkey. Dating back to between 2700 and 2400 B.C., the vessel was identified through its surviving cargo, notably ancient pottery vessels. While very little of the ship's physical structure remains intact, the analysis of the artifacts provides crucial insights into ancient maritime trade and seafaring capabilities during the early Bronze Age.
