Bear kills man in home attack near Mongolian capital
A brown bear attacked a traditional nomadic dwelling, known as a ger, near Ulaanbaatar, killing a man and seriously injuring a woman. The woman managed to escape and alert neighbors, leading to her hospitalization. Authorities report a significant rise in bear sightings near the Mongolian capital, attributing the trend to climate change and food scarcity. Officials have issued hunting permits and are searching for the animal.
