Kenya must be 'clean' before 2029 World Athletics Championships
World Anti-Doping Agency (Wada) president Witold Banka has stated that Kenya needs to significantly enhance its anti-doping enforcement measures. This includes stronger testing protocols and rigorous investigations to ensure credibility. The warning comes as Kenya sets its sights on hosting the prestigious 2029 World Athletics Championships. Banka emphasized that proving the country's commitment to a clean sporting environment is a fundamental prerequisite.
