Man City whistleblower Rui Pinto to remain under witness protection
Portuguese authorities have suspended a decision to end the witness protection status of Rui Pinto, the computer hacker whose leaked documents helped trigger the Premier League's investigation into Manchester City. Pinto, famous for founding Football Leaks, provided crucial data that exposed financial irregularities across European football. His continued safety remains a critical priority amid ongoing legal proceedings. The suspension of the withdrawal order ensures Pinto's immediate security as authorities re-evaluate the potential risks tied to his high-profile disclosures.
