Vancouver Rises as a Global Animation Hub
Vancouver is rapidly cementing its status as a premier global animation hub, highlighted by the recent launch of Netflix Animation Studios' massive new facility. The city has evolved from a simple production-service provider into an ecosystem where original, sophisticated intellectual properties are created and owned. Industry leaders point to a mature talent pool and collaborative pipelines supporting local artists at all levels. Studios like Netflix, WildBrain, and others are expanding their reach beyond traditional children's programming into anime-influenced projects, gaming content, and adult animation.
