Netflix’s Ambitious Colombian Thriller ‘Under Siege’ Bows Nov. 6
Netflix is set to release its major new eight-part fictional series titled “Under Siege” (“Palacio”) on November 6. Inspired by the tragic storming of Colombia’s Palace of Justice in 1985 by M-19 guerrillas and the subsequent military response, the production stands as one of the platform's most ambitious projects in the region. Developed by veteran producer Dynamo and boasting an impressive creative team including showrunner Natalia Santa, the project required over seven years of deep research. It features massive set builds in Bogotá to authentically recreate the historic and devastating events.
