LL Cool J Returns in CBS’ Solid ‘NCIS: New York’ Spinoff
LL Cool J has returned to the NCIS franchise in the new CBS spinoff, "NCIS: New York," playing Senior Special Agent Sam Hanna. Created by R. Scott Gemmill, the series follows Sam as he returns to his hometown after years of operating globally, initially for a single case that ultimately leads him to join a new local team. The premiere episode bridges Sam's work in Dubai with a tragic mystery in Central Park involving a deceased Navy Reservist friend. This kicks off an investigation based out of the Brooklyn Navy Yard, pairing Sam with agent Nick Schaeffer, played by Scott Caan.
