Silicon Valley Legal Drama 'Cupertino' Explores AI Insanity
Creators Robert and Michelle King return to the legal drama genre with 'Cupertino', a fast-paced CBS series set against the backdrop of the artificial intelligence boom in Silicon Valley. Starring Mike Colter, the show blends procedural elements with philosophical questions regarding machine consciousness, culpability, and digital ethics. While maintaining the trademark wit and fast pace of the creators' previous hits like 'The Good Wife' and 'The Good Fight', the series probes deeper into the spiritual and societal implications of rapidly advancing technology, asking whether algorithms are transforming modern life in ways science alone cannot answer.
