Rabbi Lior Engelman on Political Choices and Respectful Discourse
Rabbi Lior Engelman recently addressed the state of political discourse in Israel during a podcast appearance, advocating for deep listening and mutual respect despite ideological disagreements. He stressed that citizens should make independent voting decisions rather than relying on blanket rabbinic endorsements. Drawing from his own past experiences, Engelman shared why he previously stepped away from a potential spot on a party list. His message highlights the importance of personal conscience, civic responsibility, and bridging divides within society.
