Pakistani Drama 'Dancers' Heads to Busan Asian Project Market
Writer-director Eshah Shakeel’s coming-of-age drama 'Dancers' explores the emotional dilemma of Pakistan's youth, torn between emigrating and staying rooted in their homeland. Set in a Punjab town near Lahore, the story follows two young individuals who form a bond through clandestine dance lessons. The project is featured at the prestigious Asian Project Market during the Busan International Film Festival. With a locked script, secured U.K. financing, and an experienced production team, the filmmakers are now seeking international co-producers and sales agents.
