India Delays Digital Payments Fee Rollout Amid Retailer Pushback
India's National Payments Corporation (NPCI) has postponed the implementation of a controversial 0.4% merchant fee on UPI transactions. Initially scheduled for October 15, the rollout was delayed due to widespread pushback from retailers and the busy festive shopping season.
