Rodrigo Santoro and Camila Pitanga to Star in 'Garota da Urca'
Brazilian film stars Rodrigo Santoro and Camila Pitanga are set to lead the upcoming adult comedy film "Garota da Urca" (Girl From Urca). Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Marcelo Gomes, the project features a screenplay co-written by Leonardo Moreira and Luciana Paes. The film explores the lives of a married couple approaching their 50s, tackling themes of middle age, existential crises, sex, and love. Set against the backdrop of Rio de Janeiro beyond the famous Ipanema beach, the production is a collaborative effort between Matizar Filmes and Misti Filmes.
