Using AI for feedback, not answers, may help students earn higher grades
Recent research from Phys.org highlights that how students use artificial intelligence matters significantly more than simply whether they use it or not. While AI can boost academic performance on average, instrumental reliance on it for ready-made answers can actually lower grades compared to not using AI at all. Conversely, students who leverage AI as a tool for constructive feedback and to identify missing perspectives tend to achieve substantially better results.
