Iraq to Gradually Close Border Crossings with Iran
The Iraqi government has ordered the gradual closure of several border crossings with Iran in the coming days, according to official reports. The move begins with the suspension of passenger travel and commercial cargo at the Al-Shib border crossing. This development highlights shifting regional dynamics and administrative adjustments along the shared border between the two neighboring countries. Authorities have not yet specified the exact timeline for the remaining crossings.
