Man City bananas brought fun back, says Imre Varadi
Former Manchester City striker Imre Varadi has praised the club's fans for bringing inflatable bananas to Anfield during a recent match. He expressed that seeing the quirky tradition return was brilliant and added a much-needed sense of humor back into the sport. The nostalgic display harks back to the late 1980s when City supporters famously carried inflatable fruit to games. Varadi believes that moments like this reconnect modern football with its more lighthearted roots.
