Dani Carvajal Joins Getafe After 23 Years at Real Madrid
Former Real Madrid captain Dani Carvajal has signed with Getafe as a free agent following the expiration of his contract in June. The 34-year-old right-back spent 23 years at Real Madrid, winning 27 titles, including six Champions League trophies. Carvajal has recently struggled with serious knee injuries and faced reduced playing time. Choosing to stay in Madrid, he signed a deal until next June with 11th-placed La Liga side Getafe to seek regular minutes and a fresh challenge.
