A recent report by consultancy firm GECA, presented at Mipcom, highlights the remarkable growth and global success of Spanish television fiction. Between 2021 and 2025, Spanish premieres surged by 83%, driven by innovative storytelling, genre-blending, and strong returning series. Spain currently ranks seventh globally in fiction premieres, capturing a 5.2% share in the first half of 2026.
