Christian Wade Scores 100th Prem Try as Newcastle Lose to Exeter
Christian Wade reached a historic milestone by scoring a hat-trick for the Newcastle Red Bulls in their 34-28 defeat against Exeter. The achievement makes the 35-year-old winger only the second player in Premiership history to reach 100 tries, leaving him just one score shy of Chris Ashton's all-time record. Despite Wade's stellar performance, Exeter secured their first win of the season through tries from Ross Vintcent, Henry Slade, Sam Harris, and Bachuki Tchumbadze. The bonus-point victory lifts Exeter closer to the top of the standings while leaving winless Newcastle at the bottom.
