Hammer Films Boss John Gore on Resurrecting the Horror Icon
John Gore, the British theater impresario who acquired the historic Hammer Films in late 2023, is bringing the legendary horror brand back into the spotlight. With a new 4K restoration of the 1958 classic 'Dracula' heading to cinemas, Gore aims to revitalize the studio's rich legacy. Gore's passion for Hammer dates back to his childhood in the late 1960s and 70s, inspiring him to build John Gore Studios to produce new content and honor the studio's profound influence on the horror genre.
