Director Dominic Sangma has introduced his new dramatic project, 'Veil of Dust,' at the Asian Project Market during the Busan International Film Festival. The film follows a villager maimed by an unregulated mining blast and his wife's grueling fight for justice and compensation against a corrupt and exploitative system. Drawing from Sangma's own childhood memories of mining devastation in his village, the story intertwines indigenous beliefs, mystical rituals, and environmental tragedy.
