Figma announces new features to define how agents work on its platform
Design platform Figma has introduced a new Markdown-based editor called Figma Specs to help companies define their design systems and guide AI agents. Announced during its Config event in India, the tools aim to ensure AI-generated designs adhere strictly to brand guidelines. Alongside Figma Specs, the platform released its code layers feature into public beta, enabling users to transform designs into interactive code via AI prompts. Furthermore, Figma is integrating the Payload headless CMS to support dynamic website generation and expanding its AI tool integrations.
