Margaret Hamilton, Apollo 11 Software Pioneer, Dies at 90

Margaret Hamilton, the pioneering computer scientist who led the team developing the flight software for NASA's Apollo missions, has passed away at the age of 90. Her work was instrumental in ensuring the safe landing of Apollo 11 on the Moon. Working at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Hamilton coined the term "software engineering" and created the priority-driven code that famously saved the 1969 lunar landing from computer overload errors.
