Ex-Green leader Lucas criticizes Polanski over Zionism motion
Former Green Party leader Caroline Lucas has criticized current leader Zack Polanski for failing to show leadership during a contentious party conference vote. Members recently passed a motion defining Zionism as an ethnonationalist ideology and a form of racism. Polanski left the conference early to campaign in the Holborn and St Pancras by-election and did not vote on the motion. Lucas described the policy as dangerous and divisive, adding that the jury is out on whether Polanski can mend internal party divisions.
