Fox News Puts Spotlight on News Team as Midterm Elections Approach
As the 2026 midterm elections approach, Fox News is intensifying its focus on its news division. Anchor Bret Baier is leading this shift by securing high-profile interviews with global leaders and newsmakers, signaling a move toward more enterprise reporting. Beyond Baier, the network is investing in its broader news team, providing solo hours for correspondents and highlighting foreign reporting. This strategy aims to balance the network's well-known primetime opinion programming with a robust, credible news presence.
