Lucid Motors’ EV output falls to lowest level in almost 2 years
Lucid Motors reported building 2,954 electric vehicles in the third quarter, representing a 54% drop year-over-year. The reduction is part of a deliberate effort to align production with lower-than-expected mass-market demand. Under new CEO Silvio Napoli, the company is implementing a major turnaround plan to achieve $1.4 billion in cost savings. This strategy involves workforce reductions, factory adjustments, and delaying the upcoming Cosmos affordable EV to ensure quality.
