Veritas expands anti-counterfeit chip to luxury goods and jewelry
Startup Veritas has developed a specialized anti-counterfeit chip designed to combat the rising tide of high-quality luxury goods reproductions, often called superfakes. Founded by former Tesla technical product manager Luci Holland, the company provides secure hardware authentication. The newly introduced second-generation chip features advanced capabilities, allowing it to function on metal surfaces and be scanned directly through glass objects like fragrance bottles. This expands its utility beyond apparel into jewelry and trophies.
