Joan Jett Announces ‘I Love Rock ‘N Roll’ 45th Anniversary Edition
Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Joan Jett and the Blackhearts have announced a special 45th-anniversary release of their iconic album, titled “I Love Rock ‘N Roll + The Shadow Album.” The limited-edition collection arrives on December 11, 2026, as a two-record vinyl and two-CD set. The release includes the original classic album paired with a newly discovered, previously unreleased "Shadow Album" recorded in 1980 at New York’s ODO Studios. These lost tapes capture early, raw studio versions of tracks that eventually defined a rock generation before being presumed missing for decades.
