YouTube to Label AI-Generated Songs to Ensure Transparency
YouTube has announced that it will begin labeling AI-generated songs across its main platform and YouTube Music. The move comes as listeners increasingly demand transparency regarding whether music is produced by humans or artificial intelligence. The new labels will identify tracks created primarily using generative AI tools. Industry groups and competing streaming services are also adopting similar measures to address the rise of synthetic audio.
