Colorful Fruit Salad
A vibrant, refreshing, and naturally sweet medley of fresh fruits that kids will love to eat.
Ingredients
- •2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and quartered
- •2 cups seedless green grapes, halved
- •2 cups fresh pineapple chunks
- •2 medium kiwifruits, peeled and diced
- •1 cup fresh blueberries
- •2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- •1 tablespoon honey
Instructions
- 1
Wash all the fresh fruits thoroughly under cold running water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
Prepare the fruits by hulling and quartering the strawberries, halving the grapes, cutting the pineapple into bite-sized chunks, peeling and dicing the kiwifruits, and rinsing the blueberries.
- 3
In a small bowl, whisk together the fresh lime juice and honey to create a light dressing.
- 4
In a large mixing bowl, gently combine all the prepared fruits.
- 5
Drizzle the lime and honey dressing over the mixed fruit and toss very gently to coat evenly without bruising the berries.
- 6
Cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.
💡 Chef tips
- Add sliced bananas or apples right before serving to prevent them from turning brown.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- Swap any fruit based on seasonal availability or your family's favorite varieties.
