Josh Hartnett Leads Netflix's Sea Monster Thriller 'Below'

Josh Hartnett leads Netflix's thrilling new limited series "Below," created by Jesse McKeown. Set in a small Newfoundland town, the story follows Calvin Penney, a man still haunted by a childhood tragedy on the water. Decades later, as fishing has dried up, Calvin and his family struggle to make ends meet while hosting visitors and harvesting ice.

When local ice supplies turn foul and bizarre phenomena plague the community, Calvin teams up with a local scientist to investigate. The series successfully blends creature-feature tension with commentary on human nature and climate crisis anxieties, resulting in a compelling watch.
