WhatsApp Testing In-App Browser Feature for Seamless Link Viewing
WhatsApp is currently developing a built-in browser feature designed to let users open external links directly inside the application, removing the need to switch to Safari or third-party web browsers. Discovered in recent iOS beta configurations, this tool aims to streamline multitasking by keeping users inside their active chat interfaces. Beyond simple link viewing, the planned functionality includes dedicated management controls for browsing data. Users will have the ability to clear cookies and temporary cache files, ensuring privacy and storage management while staying within the messaging platform. No official public release date has been announced yet.
