2026 Elections: Three Arrested in Negev Over Vote-Buying Suspicions

Police in Israel have detained three individuals from the Bedouin diaspora in the Negev region on suspicion of involvement in electoral fraud. Law enforcement officials report that the suspects attempted to unlawfully influence voters to support the Ra'am party by distributing cash payments. During subsequent raids on the suspects' properties, investigators allegedly seized money, prepared envelopes, and voting slips. The detained individuals are scheduled to appear before the Be'er Sheva Magistrates' Court for a remand hearing as the investigation continues.
