Darkness Halts Play at DP World India Championship
The second round of the prestigious golf tournament in New Delhi had to be prematurely halted due to insufficient illumination on the course. Several prominent competitors, including notable major champion Rory McIlroy, were forced to pause their progression while navigating the early holes of the day. Earlier weather disruptions had already created scheduling pressures for the event, making daylight management critical. Organizers plan to resume the remaining second-round action early Saturday morning to get the schedule back on track.
