Indictment Filed Against Minibus Driver for Fatal Crash
The State Attorney's Office has filed an indictment against a 25-year-old minibus driver from Tira following a fatal traffic accident at the Sorek Interchange roughly five months ago. The collision resulted in the deaths of two teenagers and left several other minor passengers with varying degrees of injuries. According to legal documents, the driver was operating the vehicle with nine passengers aboard, mostly minors, and lacked mandatory insurance. Investigators determined that he failed to notice a merging truck, neglected to maintain a safe following distance, and crashed forcefully into its trailer.
