Route 437 Expansion Accelerated to Open Early in 2028
Construction efforts to widen Route 437, connecting Pisgat Ze'ev to Sha'ar Binyamin, have been significantly expedited. The thoroughfare is now slated to welcome drivers by the beginning of 2028, cutting a full year off the original timeline. Valued at approximately 400 million shekels, the infrastructure initiative will expand the road to three lanes in each direction. The upgrade aims to drastically ease chronic traffic congestion for commuters traveling between Jerusalem and Binyamin communities.
