Prof. Moshe Cohen-Eliya: Signs Point to a Right-Wing Victory
As Israel approaches a critical election day, Professor Moshe Cohen-Eliya offers an optimistic outlook for the right-wing bloc, challenging mainstream media narratives. He points to solid trends on the ground, arguing that Likud's voter retention is stronger than anticipated and that post-October 7 shifts have driven many to the political right. Cohen-Eliya also analyzes Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's final campaign push, noting efforts to reclaim voters from smaller right-wing factions. He suggests that U.S. President Donald Trump's vocal backing of Netanyahu reflects internal polling indicating an impending right-wing victory and a shared desire for decisive security policies.
