Apple has officially announced its long-rumored first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo. Featuring a 5.4-inch outer display and a larger 7.6-inch inner display with a nano-texture finish, the device aims to solve common foldable issues by offering an almost invisible crease and robust IP68 durability. Preorder demand for the iPhone Duo has been described by Apple as extraordinary. Shipping estimates on the company's website slipped into early 2027 within an hour of preorders opening, signaling high initial consumer interest despite the device's late October release date.
