Police Probe Antisemitic Chants by Hajduk Split Supporters
Croatian authorities have initiated a formal investigation following reports of bigoted slogans shouted by followers of Hajduk Split prior to their European fixture against Ajax. Video evidence captured individuals expressing support for Adolf Hitler and referencing concentration camps while marching toward the arena behind a vehicle featuring a mock coffin. The demonstration drew sharp condemnation from government leaders and human rights officials, who characterized the display as a profound assault on democratic principles. Meanwhile, law enforcement officers have already taken multiple suspects into custody and continue tracking down other participants involved in the offensive episode.
