Governments Using Online Ads for Zero-Click Spyware Attacks
Security researchers at The Citizen Lab have revealed that government spyware makers are exploiting global digital advertising networks to deliver zero-click malware to targets. The investigation highlights an Israeli firm, Discover-Tech, whose platform was allegedly used by spyware vendors like Candiru and Bindecy to silently compromise devices, including computers at media organization Al Jazeera.
