Report: Putin Proposed Summit with Trump and Xi on Ukraine's Future
Russian President Vladimir Putin has reportedly proposed a tripartite summit with US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping to discuss the future of Ukraine. According to a Wall Street Journal report citing a Russian intelligence officer, the initiative aims to address the conflict. However, the proposed summit notably excludes Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, raising concerns over diplomatic transparency and the exclusion of Kyiv from decisions concerning its own territory.
