Demolition of the Maariv Bridge in Tel Aviv
In August 2015, Tel Aviv's iconic Maariv Bridge was demolished using controlled explosives after serving the city for four decades. The dramatic morning event marked a major milestone for urban infrastructure development. The demolition was necessary to clear the path for constructing the Karlibach underground station, a key component of the Tel Aviv Light Rail's Red Line project.
