WhatsApp Interface Update: New Navigation and Typing Bar Designs
WhatsApp is currently testing significant visual updates for its Android application to modernize the user experience. The proposed changes focus on the bottom navigation bar and the chat input field, aiming to create a cleaner, more intuitive interface that aligns with contemporary design standards. Key modifications include a new green circular indicator for active tabs and a floating navigation bar design. Additionally, the chat input area is being redesigned to integrate the send button directly into the text field, with various layouts being evaluated for the placement of attachment and emoji icons. These features are still in development, and no official release date has been announced.
