Halo Co-Creator Jason Jones Launches AI-Themed Worldbuilding Studio
Jason Jones, the visionary behind the Halo and Destiny franchises, has partnered with author Margaret Stohl to launch Stone Kite, a unique worldbuilding studio. The venture originated from a manuscript Jones wrote about an AI-driven global uprising, which evolved into a collaborative, multi-format storytelling project. By utilizing a network of hundreds of contributors, the studio aims to develop narratives that are platform-agnostic, allowing stories to transition seamlessly between graphic novels, films, and games. Currently, Stone Kite is releasing content in smaller formats to gauge audience interest and refine its creative direction. The studio emphasizes a collaborative process, prioritizing the development of deep, interconnected characters and stories that can thrive across various media. This approach reflects a strategic effort to build a cohesive sci-fi universe while remaining adaptable to feedback and evolving technological landscapes.
